What’s is the job?
As a Doorman, you will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors arriving at the hotel. Your role involves greeting guests, providing assistance with entrances and exits, and ensuring a welcoming and secure environment. You will play a crucial role in shaping the guest experience and supporting overall hotel operations.
Your day to day
Warmly welcome guests upon their arrival.
Open doors, assist with luggage, and ensure that every guest receives a friendly and professional reception.
Provide assistance with taxis, valet services, and other transportation needs.
Offer directions and information about the hotel’s amenities and local attractions.
Monitor the entrance to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
Report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities and maintain a visible presence to deter potential issues.
Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as front desk and concierge, to ensure seamless guest service and address any special requests or issues.
What’s the qualification?
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle various guest requests effectively.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Friendly, professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in various weather conditions.
Ability to remain calm and composed in all situations.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry luggage, and manage the physical demands of the role.
