Security Executive

Your day to day

Safety & Security

• Ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues, visitors, and hotel property.
• Monitor CCTV systems, access control, and security equipment.
• Conduct regular patrols of guest floors, public areas, parking, and back-of-house areas.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, accidents, and security incidents.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate security records.
• Investigate security-related incidents and recommend preventive measures.

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with IHG security standards, fire safety regulations, and local laws.
• Conduct fire and emergency evacuation drills.
• Inspect firefighting equipment and emergency exits regularly.
• Support audits and maintain statutory security documentation.

Guest & Employee Support

• Provide a safe and secure environment for all hotel occupants.
• Handle lost and found procedures in accordance with hotel policies.
• Assist guests during emergencies with professionalism and care.
• Coordinate with local police, fire department, and emergency services when required.

Operational Support

• Supervise outsourced security personnel and ensure duty discipline.
• Monitor contractor and visitor entry procedures.
• Report maintenance or safety hazards immediately.
• Participate in hotel emergency response and crisis management plans.

What we need from you  

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in any discipline (preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in hotel security, hospitality, or a similar security environment.
• Knowledge of CCTV operations, fire safety systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Good understanding of local security regulations and health & safety standards.
• Strong observation, problem-solving, and incident management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Certification in Fire & Safety, First Aid, or Security Management is an added advantage.
