voco Gold Coast is looking for a motivated and reliable Casual Kitchen Steward to join our busy and dynamic kitchen team.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

As a Kitchen Steward, you'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining dishwashing machines to ensure they remain in excellent working condition.
• Assisting chefs with food preparation and general kitchen duties in line with daily production requirements.
• Ensuring a consistent supply of clean equipment, crockery, cutlery, and utensils is available to all outlets at all times.
• Collecting and disposing of waste while maintaining the cleanliness of bins and the garbage room.
• Completing all scheduled cleaning tasks across kitchen areas and ensuring daily cleaning schedules are followed.
• Adhering to stewarding, sanitation, and food safety procedures at all times.
• Demonstrating a sound understanding of the safe handling and application of detergents, sanitisers, and disinfectants.
• Contributing to a positive, organised, and safety-focused work environment.
