The Specialist Paid Media involves generating direct revenue for IHG through paid media partnerships, including affiliates and directory listings. The individual in this position will focus on enhancing the performance of the Paid Media team by discovering and applying innovative strategies, recognizing the needs and opportunities within local markets, optimizing marketing campaigns, and streamlining the overall program operations.
Your day to day
- Account Management: Support the Program Manager in overseeing a portfolio of existing partnerships through proactive communication and optimization strategies. Collaborate with the network to identify and enhance mid-tier and small affiliates with significant revenue potential. Conduct research to recruit new affiliates, expanding the program’s reach.
- Reporting: Work alongside in-house analytics teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of network transactions. Identify and communicate trends and milestones in program performance to key stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.
- Creative Management: Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and curate innovative creative assets, maintaining the network's creative library in accordance with current brand standards. Execute tests on affiliate links to assess the impact of varying messaging, imagery, landing pages, and customer behavior across affiliate sites.
- Budget Management: Diligently track affiliate and network commissions, media buy, and call center costs to effectively manage the annual budget, ensuring financial accountability and strategic resource allocation.
- Newsletter & Ad Hoc Communication: Gather, write, and proof content related to program initiatives, brand support campaigns, and relevant company news for deployment via network email and internal communication channels, ensuring clarity and engagement.
What we need from you
2-5 years of experience in digital media and marketing, demonstrating a strong understanding of technical and business knowledge across multiple disciplines. Experience in affiliate marketing is preferred but not required.- Project management experience in organizing, planning, and executing marketing projects from conception through implementation.
- Proficiency in business software products such as Excel, Microsoft Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong ability to build and manage relationships with both external and internal marketing partners.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and research capabilities.
- This position is essential in managing customer expectations across various stakeholders, while fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and innovation.
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $46,226 to $75,000 .This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
