InterContinental Wellington is looking for a Reservations Coordinator to join our team
Your Role
As a Reservations Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's booking system. You will be responsible for managing reservations, assisting guests with inquiries, and ensuring room and service availability. With a professional yet personalized approach, you'll create a seamless and welcoming experience for guests even before their arrival. Your role is vital to the sales, marketing, and revenue functions of the hotel, ensuring accurate communication of both internal reservation details and external market conditions, in alignment with operational goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Recording and processing guest reservations
- Supporting the front office & sales teams with booking management
- Actively contributing to revenue generation and helping the department meet its goals
- Building strong relationships with clients to provide a seamless reservation experience for our guests
What You'll Need
- At least 2 years' experience in Reservations or Front Office with a strong understanding of hotel operations
- Strong administration & computer skills
- Work well as part of a team
- Experience using a property management system such as Opera
- Confidence in your communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and colleagues
- Have strong English speaking and writing
- NZ working rights
