As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival at the restaurant.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, ensuring proper seating arrangements.
• Handle and manage reservations, confirming bookings and managing table assignments.
• Present the menu to guests, explain daily specials, and answer any menu-related questions.
• Assist guests with placing orders and ensure accurate communication with the kitchen staff.
• Coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Attend to guests' needs and requests promptly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
• Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist with processing bills and payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and properly set up according to hotel standards.
• Assist in planning and executing special events and functions within the restaurant.
• Participate in promotional activities to enhance the guest experience and promote the restaurant.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in hospitality or food and beverage service is advantageous.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
• Excellent verbal communication skills; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reservations, orders, and billing.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve guest issues and concerns.
• Adherence to hotel grooming standards and maintaining a professional appearance.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and an understanding of health and safety regulations.
