Your day-to-day
Maintain storage areas, clean and store equipment
• Store and clean china, glassware, pots and pans as per kitchen procedures, keep areas clean and organised and dispose of broken or damaged equipment
• Demonstrate a sound awareness of WH&S policies and procedures
• Comply with all cleaning requirements as per schedule for all kitchen areas & complete kitchen cleaning schedule daily
• Understand the safe application and usage of detergents, sanitisers and disinfectants
• Wear non-slip shoes at all times. PPE to be worn when cleaning ovens, grills and fryers. Display appropriate signage when cleaning floors
• Communicate any issues to a senior Chef on duty
• Identify hazards and report to senior Chef on duty
• Perform other duties as required
