About the Sales Coordinator position
First impressions count. To get our guests’ memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we’re looking for a Sales Coordinator who can make transactions feel seamless, and ensure optimum service to guests, visitors and support to other departments.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Responding to client calls and special requests and obtain final details, dates, times, and hotel room and meeting room requirements and regularly following up with clients to maintain accurate and updated information.
- Promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
- Coordinating details with other departments such as VIP amenities, special requests, or other service needs or special handling.
- Resolving requests and/or complaints to the satisfaction of the guest.
- Performing administrative duties such as typing proposals, letters, contracts, etc.
- Distributing BEOs and reports to other departments
What we need from you
- Communication skills - guests will look for you to be easy to talk to
- Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities
- Fluency in the local language - extra language skills helpful but not essential
- Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic math and computer skills
