Role Purpose
The PRM-Restaurant & Bars is part of the IHG Revenue service team and provides strategic, data-driven and operations-oriented direction to the F&B team, to optimise their Restaurants and Bars revenue and embed a high-performance mindset within the team.
Revenue management leader of a portfolio of Outlets, the PRM-R&B is driving RM strategies across the 5 pillars of R&B RM - Price, Distribution, Space, Time and Data quality.
This person Manages the initiation, implementation and assessment of revenue-related strategies for outlets, encompassing all facets of pricing, demand & Distribution analysis, online reputation, space and reservations management, activations assessment, menu engineering, profit optimisation and psychological pricing tactics in accordance with company policies and industry best practices. Drive bi-weekly or monthly meetings with all R&B actors such as F&B director/Managers, Hotel manager/GM, Chef, Marketing and Sales teams.
Key Accountabilities
• Developing and managing short, medium, and long-term strategies for profitable revenue generation for Restaurant & Bars in our portfolio of hotels
• Responsible as the key driver of Incremental revenue generation data analysis and recommend logical, tactical and strategic initiatives for pro-actively and cost effectively maximize outlet performances
• Provide data and analytics to support Hotels to drive incremental revenue opportunities and improve profitability
• Coach operation hotel teams to develop a high-performance mindset and an interest towards analytics and revenue optimization inside their domain of expertise
• Lead regular F&B meetings with key hotel stakeholders to ensure consistent focus on optimizing performance.
• Provide forecast for all managed outlets
Key Skills & Experiences
Education –
Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Experience –
5-7 years progressive work-related experience in hospitality and analytical-job related environment. Ideally, you have an experience in R&B/F&B revenue management. Pure Revenue management profile will be considered if you have a strong F&B culture and passion. Perfect profile would mix RM and F&B experience.
Technical Skills and Knowledge –
- Demonstrate strong Influential skills
- Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with leadership, operation teams and key hotel representatives.
- Demonstrated effective conflict management/resolution and negotiation/persuasion skills to persuade key partners within revenue management initiatives
- Demonstrated understanding of key R&B revenue driver
- Demonstrate passion in exploring new F&B concepts and competitor survey
- Demonstrated knowledge of understanding R&B analytics, R&B KPIs
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to use the results of analysis to make effective strategic decision and influence operation teams to implement new initiatives.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/clients required.
