As the Manager, Masterbrand Creative Strategy & Production, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing IHG Hotels & Resorts to life across various consumer-facing channels and integrated campaigns. In this position, you will regularly provide guidance to the Creative Services Leadership Team and other senior management across the organization.
As the Manager, you will lead and guide the creative direction of strategic Masterbrand campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals and project briefs. You will leverage strategic frameworks to deliver thought leadership, enhance processes, and support project planning for Creative Services and marketing stakeholders.
In addition to spearheading creative campaign work, you will also lead content production efforts on behalf of IHG brands and partnership marketing. This will include managing photo and video shoots, including pre-production, on set and post-production coordination. You will serve an integral role in liaising between internal client and agency / production partners.
You will be fully accountable for major work streams throughout the year, with increasing complexity. The ideal candidate will consistently deliver high-quality results on time and demonstrate the ability to adapt workstreams in response to new insights or challenges. Proactivity in initiating necessary changes is essential, as is a commitment to bringing innovative ideas and elevating creative quality.
Your day to day
- Provide project management support for a variety of marketing projects across all aspects of creative strategy and delivery, from project initiation to implementation planning, effectively navigating a complex multi-region, multi-function organization.
- Work with agencies & internal resources to develop campaign content on time and on brief; manage relationships with internal and external partners and source necessary data or reports to inform innovations in creative.
- Manage creative timelines, facilitate reviews, consolidate feedback and provide updates to stakeholders throughout the process.
- Develop and embed creative best practices and establish thought leadership amongst working teams.
- Work with regional counterparts to ensure strategies and on-going content development are properly localized and developed & enforce content strategies and standards as applies to development of new content and governance of existing content.
- Give regular progress updates to sponsor/senior management, as well as discuss issues with them and find impactful ways to use their time.
- Effectively motivate working teams with a collaborative and safe environment & appropriate access to key stakeholders.
- Lead content production efforts, including managing end-to-end photo and video shoot efforts for various brands and cross-functional campaign needs, in addition to live events. Build out library of owned assets and help operationalize IHG’s content production COE.
What we need from you
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- 6-10 years progressive work-related experience in creative operations, content strategy, production, interactive marketing or similar, with a minimum of 4 years professional-level experience in marketing.
- Own a number of full project workstreams, decision making associated with project scoping and project management responsibilities and be responsible for delivering on time, matching Director's expectations
- Demonstrated ability to assess and understand a variety of internal and external economic and market-level issues with impact to the business, to analyze a business brief and set up a creative team for success to develop strategic creative.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking through a proven ability to analyze markets, performance data, and business issues and draw insight/conclusions.
- Strong interpersonal skills required to build relationships across business units for collaboration and problem solving.
- Ability to understand hotel industry dynamics.
- Background in photo and video and understanding of production process and industry.
- Prior agency experience preferred.
Location: Atlanta - Our Hybrid work structure is an expectation of three days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $58,834 to $88,000.00 This role is also eligible for bonus pay. In addition, we offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, and any other benefits to eligible employees.
