Data Integrations Manager

Role Purpose

To enable the marketing analytics team, generate insights and support decision making in a timely fashion by equipping them with a wide variety of high-quality downstream data assets and modern analytics tools. 

Key Accountabilities

• Understand IHG systems, operational data and develop accurate, reliable downstream data assets to satisfy business needs
• Drive data and process governance for downstream data assets, integration of various tools with those data assets and access control for data security
• Support evaluation of analytics tools required for specific business use cases
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and act as a bridge between business and technology teams to orchestrate complex implementations

Critical Expertise, Experience and Educational Attainment Required

•            Expert level SQL skills & strong Python scripting skills. Experience in working in a Cloud environment (AWS/GCP/Azure).

•            Strong understanding of Data Architecture and deep understanding of the overall data in an Enterprise and the ability to understand data in the context of business goals

•            Experience extracting and managing structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.

•            Ability to implement data processes and standards to ensure high-quality data

•            Ability to define and document business process flows and data standards

•            Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact across both business and IT groups

•            Excellent analytical, problem-solving solving and collaborative skills

•            Comfortable and effective with issues that lack clarity, structure or certainty

•            Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field with 8 years of experience in data engineering or data analytics; or master degree in data analytics, data engineering or closely related field with 6 years of experience and at least 4 years in data engineering or data analytics

•            Minimum four (4) years or more of relevant SQL coding experience, including data management or related areas. Required
