At IHG Hotels & Resorts, our Americas Commercial Delivery team connects our commercial strategy with the teams and hotels who bring it to life.

As a Specialist, you will help keep team priorities, projects and communications moving forward. You will coordinate commercial initiatives, maintain project plans and reporting, prepare communications and presentations, and organize meetings and activities that support the team’s work.

Working closely with leadership and partners across the organization, you will track progress, follow up on commitments and flag issues that need attention. Depending on your assigned team, your responsibilities may include brand sales calls, colleague communications, commercial programs, events or support for cross-functional projects.

Your Day-To-Day

  • Coordinate commercial initiatives across brands and teams, maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones and action items.
  • Work with project owners to track deliverables, follow up on commitments and flag risks, dependencies or competing priorities to leadership.
  • Prepare project updates, presentations and reports that help leaders understand progress, make decisions and identify where support is needed.
  • Coordinate team meetings, leadership reviews and commercial calls, including scheduling, agendas, materials, technology support and follow-up actions.
  • Develop communications, guides, presentations and training materials that help hotel and corporate teams understand and adopt new programs.
  • Manage assigned communications and recurring programs, which may include monthly brand sales calls, the ACD Bulletin and sales orientations. Responsibilities may include content coordination, registration, live support, recordings and participation reporting.
  • Maintain a shared calendar of team activities, project milestones and hotel-facing initiatives to help coordinate timing and priorities.
  • Keep reporting tools, dashboards and trackers current so leaders can monitor participation, engagement and program performance.
  • Maintain team documentation and shared resources, including SharePoint sites, project files, distribution lists and reference materials.
  • Develop standard templates and identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve reporting and reduce manual work.
  • Support onboarding, onsite sales training, team engagement activities and team or customer-facing events.
  • Serve as a point of contact for hotels and internal partners, helping resolve questions and connecting them with the right resources.

What We Need from You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Communications, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in commercial operations, revenue management, project or program coordination, communications, training, team coordination and project management office (PMO) support.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, especially Teams (setting up and hosting webinars and large virtual meetings), PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at once without losing the detail- strong organization, time management, and follow-through.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication, including building presentations and business communications for senior audiences.
  • A collaborative approach and the credibility to build relationships across cross-functional teams and with hotel stakeholders.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving instincts, and the judgment to know what to escalate and when.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Forms and Power Automate, or another workflow automation tool.
  • Experience in a hotel, franchise services, or multi-brand hospitality environment.
  • Familiarity with project management and reporting tools such as Smartsheet, Planner, or Power BI.
