In this role, I will manage the efficient operation of my department to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget.
I will work strategically with the Assistant Director of Sales/Commercial Director to develop cohesive and productive goals for my department and establish procedures/guidelines to achieve them. I will maintain an overall consistency of the Company’s vision, quality/standards and develop concepts consistent with brand identity.


My scope of work includes:


• Keep abreast of industry trends and practices and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
• Support the efficient operation of the Sales & Marketing department.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the property including type of rooms available as well as their location and layout, selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans, credit policy of the hotel and reservation coding.
• Assist in driving the right business at the right price to ensure the property achieves budgeted occupancy, rate and revenue.
• Assist with the implementation of the sales plan, contracting, setting sales targets by segment and by client and prospect.
• Assist in preparation and maintain documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards.
• Maintain and update records of all tour operator communication, contracts, tactical offers, production reports, availability calendar, and so on.
• Ensure all Opera profiles are updated accordingly with contact details, IATA number, partner entitlements, and contracting status.
• Assist in hosting and managing FAM trips, including comp forms review, itineraries review, pre-arrival arrangements and conduct site inspections.
• Create and distribute trade email blasts and circulars, including tactical offers and resort updates.
• Assist with the contracting season and oversee the contracting distribution process to all partners.
• Assist in comp set audit report, logging notable activities in market such as special offers, marketing activations, resort updates, etc.
• Participate in sales action plans, attending sales meetings, developing special packages, promotional activities undertaken by sales department.
• Assist in directing and evaluating sales solicitation for group business and weddings.
• A high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene, plus comprehensive knowledge of safety, security and emergency procedures will be maintained by myself and all hosts in line with brand and statutory requirements.
• Ensure that interaction and communications between departments within the property are clear and effectively maintained to support the smooth running of the property.
• Ensure that all activities within my department are carried out ethically, honestly and within the parameters of local law.
• Attend the designated meetings and trainings as instructed by the Assistant Director of Sales/Commercial Director with a two-way flow of pertinent information and communications.
• Perform any additional duties given to me by Assistant Director of Sales/Commercial Director.

Skills and Experience
To execute the position of Sales Executive, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results. I possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Hotel or Business Management and more than two years’ experience in a relevant sales and marketing role.
Technical skills include Advanced MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including PMS and CRM platforms. I have an excellent command of written and spoken English with some knowledge of the local customs and additional supporting language skill.
