In this role, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the property to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work strategically with the General Manager to ser clear goals and procedures for the property and support the hotel operations end-to-end. 
  • Maintain consistency with the company’s vision and quality standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to enhance our offerings.
  • Regularly assess and innovate our products and services in line with Six Senses' wellness and sustainability practices.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences from reservations to departure, including effective service recovery.
  • Be present on site, reviewing all areas of the property and ensuring adherence to LQA standards. 
  • Inspect selected villas, public areas and heart of house areas on a regular basis and ensure any maintenance and product improvements are actioned in a timely manner.
  • Lead a team of managers, who all manage their own teams. Help them uphold Six Senses operational standards, drive performance through clear goals, guidance, support and feedback, and help them develop and grow their careers.
  • Assist the General Manager in meeting or exceeding budget goals for revenue and cost control.
  • Identify opportunities for growth or improvement to deliver an even better guest experience, and work with the relevant teams to design and implement new approaches
  • Foster a positive work environment for hosts and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Maintain clear communication between departments for smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales and public relations to support revenue generation.
  • Engage with the media and local community.
  • In the event of guest complaints, carry out service recovery or supervise hosts in doing so.
  • Promote a revenue-focused culture among hosts.
  • Ensure ethical operations and adherence to local laws.
  • Monitor departmental budgets to drive profitability while maintaining standards.
  • Assist the General Manager in preparing financial reports and forecasts to meet budget expectations. Ensure budgeting is undertaken on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis to ensure budgets are met and exceeded.
  • Complete corporate reporting requirements for the role, and prepare and submit legally required confidential documentation related to the operation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager, and liaise with the corporate home office as needed.

I will uphold professionalism and set a positive example, respecting diverse cultures while building a loyal team. I am committed to ensuring a safe environment for guests and hosts, complying with all policies and regulations. I will maintain relations with outside contacts and drive host involvement in community organizations, activities and businesses. 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Resort Manager in luxury hotels (minimum 5 years).
  • Strong background in luxury hospitality and proven experience in F&B in luxury hotels are essential.
  • Well-versed in luxury lifestyles and engaging with diverse international clientele while demonstrating sensitivity to the local culture. 
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to build positive relationships with hosts.
  • Fluent in English; Hebrew is an advantage.
  • Eligible to work in Israel is an advantage; open to expatriates.
