Your Day to Day 

As the Public Relations Manager at Manko Doha, you will be responsible for shaping and managing the public image of the brand. You will drive strategic communications, media relations, and partnerships to enhance Manko Doha’s reputation and visibility. This role requires creativity, a deep understanding of the media landscape, and the ability to build strong relationships with key influencers, journalists, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance Manko Doha's brand visibility and reputation
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with local, regional, and international media outlets and key stakeholders
  • Coordinate media events, press conferences, and influencer collaborations to generate media coverage and increase brand awareness
  • Craft compelling press materials, including press releases, media kits, and speeches
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing regular reports on the effectiveness of PR initiatives
  • Work closely with the marketing and events teams to align messaging and ensure consistency across all communication channels
  • Manage crisis communication and issues management, ensuring the brand’s reputation is protected
  • Oversee and maintain the brand's presence on social media platforms, collaborating with digital marketing teams to amplify messages
  • Identify new PR opportunities and industry trends to ensure Manko Doha stays at the forefront of the luxury hospitality market

 

What We Need From You 

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably within the luxury hospitality or lifestyle sector
  • Proven track record of successful media relations and strategic communications
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape and PR tools.
  • Creative, proactive, and solutions-oriented with a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
