First impressions count. To get our guests’ memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we’re looking for a Porter who can make transactions feel seamless, offer exceptional local insights, and anticipate every request to make our guests feel right at home.

 
A little taste of your day-to-day:

 
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. 

As a Porter you’ll respond to guest requests and enquiries to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
You will assist them by taking their luggage and handing them over to the Concierge, or directing them to reception and the Guest Services Agents. 

You will offer valet parking and drive their car safely to a nearby carpark, hastening back to greet the next guest.


 
What We need from you:
 

It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important
Strength –with occasional lifting of items up to 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects
Communication skills -guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories
Fluency in the local language -extra language skills would be great, but not essential
Literate –good level of reading, writing, math and computers
Drivers Licence–a full licenceand the experience and confidence to safely valet park our guests’ cars
