KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including CV screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, documentation, and candidate follow-up.
- Manage pre-joining and onboarding processes, ensuring all required documents, approvals, orientation, and joining arrangements are completed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential colleague files, HR records, databases, trackers, and employee information.
- Monitor daily attendance, leave, public holidays, absences, missing punches, and other attendance-related matters.
- Support monthly payroll preparation by verifying attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, unpaid leave, and other payroll inputs.
- Coordinate with Government Relations on residency, Civil ID, work permits, visa transfers, renewals, cancellations, and document expiries.
- Support learning and development activities, including orientation, mandatory training, cross-exposure, IHG Academy, and training records.
- Coordinate colleague engagement, recognition, wellbeing activities, celebrations, town halls, and Colleague HeartBeat initiatives.
- Respond to general colleague inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, leave, payroll, and other employment-related matters.
- Assist the HR Manager with colleague relations, investigations, disciplinary documentation, performance management, and other confidential HR matters.
- Prepare HR correspondence, including employment letters, certificates, contracts, memos, announcements, and reports.
- Support colleague accommodation, transportation, welfare, uniform, biometric/access, and other colleague-related requirements where applicable.
- Coordinate resignation, termination, transfer, clearance, exit interview, visa cancellation/transfer, and final settlement documentation.
- Maintain and regularly update recruitment, manpower, leave, attendance, training, visa, turnover, and other HR reports and trackers.
- Support HR audits and ensure documentation is complete and compliant with IHG standards, hotel policies, and local labour requirements.
- Assist in manpower planning, headcount monitoring, HR reporting, presentations, and departmental projects.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure all colleague information is handled professionally and securely.
- Work closely with HODs, Finance, Government Relations, Learning & Development, and other departments to ensure smooth HR operations.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Previous experience in Human Resources, administration, or hotel operations is preferred.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
- Good understanding of HR processes and basic employment practices.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- A high level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism when handling colleague information.
- Knowledge of Kuwait Labour Law and local HR practices would be an advantage.
