Develop, implement and manage innovative Restaurant, Bar and Event programs, concepts and standards for the Luxury and Lifestyle brands. Participate as critical advisor to owners and operators in new hotel openings and conversions while providing subject matter expertise and consult on pre-openings, new opening critical path milestones, brand standards manuals, OS&E and FF&E selection, recruitment, product sourcing and budgeting. Drive hotel performance as the primary resource for high level specialized/technical knowledge of the Luxury & Lifestyle guest experience and hotel operations.
Your day to day
- Perform research and data analysis on external market, internal programs, competitive set, relevant market pricing for F&B products, or economic factors affecting F&B. Prepare reports or presentations summarizing this data, and make recommendations to senior leaders for new programs or changes to existing programs based on findings and trends. This includes the management of 3rd party consultancy agencies.
- Develop bespoke and branded restaurant concepts and initiatives for the assigned luxury brands, including development, designing equipment, food specs & testing, and staffing models to enhance the financial and operational performance of the luxury & lifestyle restaurant and bars, as well as other F&B departments (banquets, in-room dining, mini-bars, club lounge, catering) in the respective region.
- Conduct and lead special projects in various F&B program areas. Examples include developing tools for new F&B initiatives, tracking success metrics and preparing P&L forecasts for new restaurant openings, etc.
- Will collaborate with Director leading ownership/management company R&B immersion and kick-off meetings and enhancing current concept development process for franchised Indigo projects
- Will collaborate with Director leading ownership/management company R&B immersion and kick-off meetings for franchised projects for all other L&L brands and continuing to facilitate current R&B concept development process
- Will act as primary point of contact for ownership and management companies for all of the above post-opening
- Will collaborate with Director on all Indigo R&B brand initiatives including core concept development and deployment
- Will collaborate with Director on ownership R&B immersions and kick-off meetings for all MLAC projects (managed and franchise)
- Will act as primary point of contact for all managed MLAC projects
- Will manage/facilitate approval process for all 3rd party concepted or 3rd party operated properties for LLA portfolio + Hotel Indigo
What we need from you
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Human Resources, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
- 5 to 7 years of luxury & lifestyle F&B operations experience within a 5 diamond/star luxury environment in addition to free standing and lifestyle restaurant operation. Experience in hotel operations (as GM, F&B Director, or other multi-unit hotel management) preferred, with demonstrated mastery of financial, statistical, business knowledge and understanding of multiple disciplines/processes related to this position.
- Thorough understanding of hotel and/or F&B programs within a luxury and lifestyle segment.
- Thorough understanding of concept-forward F&B operations including but not limited to Banquet operations, restaurant operations, room service, mini-bar, club lounge and bar operations.
- Project management experience from conception to implementation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff. Must be able to articulate F&B, business and culinary terms
- Demonstrated expertise in operations, product/quality, service, F&B and people tools/processes
- Financial and business analysis skills, and demonstrated ability to analyze operating, forecast, and budget information.
- Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and relational databases.
- Property Operating System knowledge /skills to include, Micros, Bartech, Domestic, Delphi, Fidelio FO and S&C, Avero and Opera FO strongly preferred.
Travel – up to 25%
Location – Atlanta, GA; Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $58,834.00 to $115,000.00. This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
