We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chief Concierge to lead our Concierge & Bell team and play a pivotal role in shaping memorable guest experiences from arrival to departure.

About the Role

Reporting to the Front Office Manager and working closely with the Front Office leadership team, you will champion exceptional guest service while inspiring and developing a high-performing Concierge team.

As the face of the resort, you'll be responsible for curating personalised experiences, sharing local insights, and ensuring every guest receives the warm, intuitive service that defines the InterContinental brand.

No two days are the same, but your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching, and developing the Concierge team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Building genuine guest relationships through personalised, professional, and memorable service
• Providing expert recommendations on local attractions, events, dining experiences, and activities across the Gold Coast
• Managing guest requests and resolving concerns with empathy, efficiency, and professionalism
• Driving service excellence by setting high standards and leading by example
• Promoting resort facilities, experiences, and services to enhance each guest's stay
• Maintaining the highest levels of discretion, confidentiality, and guest privacy
• Fostering strong relationships with local tourism operators, businesses, and industry partners

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a hospitality professional who is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences and has a natural ability to inspire those around them.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Concierge leader within an upscale hotel or luxury resort environment
• A minimum of four years' experience in Concierge, Guest Services, or a related Front Office discipline
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience with a demonstrated ability to develop and motivate teams
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for service excellence and luxury hospitality
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and perform under pressure
• Exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability
• Knowledge of the Gold Coast tourism and hospitality landscape
• Membership with Les Clefs d'Or (or a desire to work towards membership) will be highly regarded
• Full working rights within Australia
• Unrestricted Open Car Driver's Licence (Class C)
