About the Role
As a Guest Service Attendant – Grove & Boutique, you’ll achieve success for the business by making sure that our Guests receive the highest level of product, service and professionalism. You will ensure that the outlet is impeccably presented and that it showcases an appealing and exciting range of products. You’ll also promote a positive team culture while ensuring our colleagues deliver a guest experience that is unique and brings the brand to life.
What we need from you
You will ensure that the Grove & Boutique outlet is always in impeccable condition, meeting 5-star standards. This includes completing opening checklists, maintaining cleanliness, and rotating perishable food and beverage stock according to a "first-in, first-out" system. Your problem-solving skills will be essential for turning issues into opportunities, ensuring every guest leaves with positive memories. Throughout your shift, you will maintain the store's appearance, assist guests with their needs, and keep all areas, including change rooms and back-of-house preparation areas, clean and organized. A warm, genuine greeting and attentive service will be central to your role.
You will also uphold a punctual, efficient, and helpful attitude with both guests and colleagues while adhering to all HR standards and regulations. Maintaining a cost-conscious mindset is crucial, as well as assisting with periodic stock takes and reporting any damage or breakages. You will ensure compliance with local laws regarding food handling and alcohol service and always work in accordance with the hotel’s uniform and grooming policies. Lastly, being aware of environmental goals, minimizing waste, and adhering to responsible business practices will be essential in your day-to-day operations.
