Join Our Front Office Team as a Front Office/Shift Leader at the First Vignette Collection in KSA!
We are looking for a welcoming, energetic, and detail-oriented Front Office/Shift Leader to be the first point of contact and the face of the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel). This is a pivotal role for individuals passionate about creating exceptional, personalized experiences and launching a successful career in luxury hospitality. Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Front Office/Shift Leader for the efficient operations of reception including check-in and check-out procedures
Supporting team members in handling guest requests and enquiries to ensure a positive outcome is achieved
Ensuring that both the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departments
Demonstrating a high level of customer service at all times
Advising the team of any special events or VIP guests in the hotel
Understanding thoroughly all hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
Monitoring the appearance, standards and performance of the Front Office Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork
Maximizing room occupancy and using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
Ensuring Team Members have current knowledge of all room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, local area and other general product knowledge necessary to perform their duties
Demonstrating positive leadership characteristics that inspire Team Members to exceed standards
Acting in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front office equipment and property management systems
Following and adhering to company brand standards
Assisting other departments wherever necessary and maintaining good working relationships with Team Members
Working with your Manager to identify a specific project to complete during your internship placement
What we need from you:
Previous experience in a 5-star luxury hotel
Desire to progress within the hospitality industry
Positive attitude and good communication skills
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Excellent grooming standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Competent level of IT proficiency
Must speak fluent English
