Full job description
We are looking for a hard-working, passionate sales professional to build sales in the hotel market.
Hotel Sales Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
~Drive group account sales for the hotel, aligning with business strategies to set and achieve sales goals.
~Identify new business opportunities and enhance sales to meet revenue targets.
~Represent the hotel at various events and exhibitions to promote brand awareness and attract potential clients.
~Conduct daily sales calls, both internally and externally, and organize site inspections to secure new business deals.
~Ensure prompt and professional communication with clients, maintaining long-term business relationships.
~Provide exceptional service to customers, addressing their needs and inquiries promptly and effectively.
~Manage the operational aspects of secured business, including proposal generation, contract writing, and customer correspondence.
~Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to negotiate rates that align with the hotel's financial objectives.
~Foster teamwork with the front office team to ensure cohesive efforts in achieving shared goals.
~Attend department and hotel meetings as required to stay updated on business strategies and initiatives.
~Target potential key accounts and cultivate relationships within the community to expand the customer base.
~Acquire and develop new business accounts, preparing comprehensive sales proposals for clients.
~Follow up promptly on all business leads, aiming for a 24-hour response time to clients.
**Prerequisites: **
~Demonstrated pride in work and attention to detail.
~Empathy towards customers and colleagues, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
**Skills:**
Proficient in computer skills, with experience using hotel sales systems.
**Experience:**
2 yrs prior experience in hotel sales industry
Salary is based on experience, performance with the ability to drive revenue
