Your day to day
What’s on the menu for your next career move? As our new Director of Food and Beverage you could be leading the charge to ensure our guests enjoy a truly memorable experience – whether they’ve worked up an appetite for a full conference banquet or are just joining us for their favourite hot beverage.
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of dedicated hospitality professionals.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by setting and exceeding high service standards.
- Maintain food and beverage standards aligned with responsible business practices.
- Collaborate with finance to set and manage budgets, driving revenue growth.
- Oversee multiple outlets, banquet, and convention facilities, ensuring smooth operations through effective leadership of managers and supervisors.
What we need from you
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience: At least 6+ years of progressive experience in food and beverage operations, with a minimum of 3 years in senior leadership roles within luxury or upscale hospitality environments. Proven track record of driving operational excellence and revenue growth.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and financial acumen with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Certifications: Must hold all certifications and permits required by local authorities. Advanced certifications in food safety, beverage management, or related areas are preferred.
- Attributes: High energy, guest-focused, and detail-oriented, with a passion for innovation and elevating dining experiences.
- Other: Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
