About us
Crowne Plaza Amsterdam-South is located in the bubbly Zuidas area, just a 5-minute walk from station Amsterdam Zuid which connects you to the city centre within 10 minutes. Easy to reach, the area previously known as the financial district of Amsterdam is becoming more and more residential, with great bars, restaurants, shops and a Thursday market.
The hotel offers 207 room, 6 meeting rooms, fitness facilities, a lively bar and two outdoor sun-terraces overlooking the Zuidas area. In 2020 the restaurant was rebranded to Happyhappyjoyjoy Zuidas, a concept known in Amsterdam for offering a delicious melting pot of Asian street food specialties.

Your day to day
• You are responsible for creating remarkable guest experiences mainly at the hotel supporting Breakfast or bringing Room Service orders.

With the ability to expand your responsibilities:
• At the restaurant, Happyhappyjoyjoy Zuidas, you provide excellent service during lunch and/or dinner.
• You operate the Manhattan Lounge Bar in order to create a vibrant and fun place for our hotel guests and local community to hang out.
• You assist with setting up our Meeting Places and are responsible for the quality of service during events;

What we need from you
• You are a great team player, passionate about hospitality and determined to provide the best quality of service for our guests and customers
• You are fluent in speaking and understanding English, Dutch is appreciated but not mandatory
• Previous experience in hospitality or similar position is appreciated but not mandatory
• You have a caring and enthusiastic attitude
• You are proactive and solution oriented
• You are a team player
• You like to take responsibilities and are proud to provide a great quality of service to the guests and customers
• You are preferably available on weekends
