This Director of Operations Franchise, Northern Europe role is pivotal in driving the operational excellence and performance of our franchised estate across Northern Europe. Reporting directly to the Managing Director Northern Europe, you will take full accountability for delivering results across guest experience, brand value, and revenue, while cultivating strong relationships with franchisees and owners. If you are a proven Senior Leader with a track record of success in franchise operations and a vision for optimising performance, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee and guide hotel business plans to maximise revenue, quality, and service objectives across the franchised portfolio (200+ properties).
- Provide team leadership and strategic direction to hotel performance teams, ensuring operational goals are achieved and corrective action is taken when needed.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with owners and franchisees to align business goals and strengthen partnerships.
- Assist Development of new properties, due diligence, and hotel positioning to ensure strong delivery in market .
- Support the timely opening and ramp-up of new hotels to drive performance and growth.
What we’re looking for:
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in hotel operations management, ideally in franchised environments.
- A strong track record of improving hotel performance metrics and achieving operational excellence.
- Proven ability to manage complex Key Owner relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Expertise in project management, strategic planning, and leading large-scale initiatives.
- Northern Europe market experience as well as German language skills is highly desired
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills are required.
