Commercial Director (Cluster) - Six Senses Amalaa

Duties and Responsibilities 

As Cluster Commercial Director, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Sales & Marketing department across Six Senses Amaala and Six Senses Southern Dunes, to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget. I will work strategically with the General Managers of both properties to develop cohesive and productive commercial goals and establish procedures/guidelines to achieve them.

The duties and responsibilities will include: 

• Maintain an overall consistency of the Company’s vision, quality and standards and develop commercial concepts consistent with brand identity across both properties. 

• Work collaboratively with the General Managers, Executive team and operations on correlated product standards to deliver excellent guest service results as measured by the brand, independent guest satisfaction companies and social media. 

• Lead, develop and manage the cluster Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management and Public Relations teams across Six Senses Amaala and Six Senses Southern Dunes. 

• Develop and execute the cluster commercial strategy, annual sales and marketing plan, and revenue budget for both properties. 

• Set and monitor commercial performance targets, including RevPAR, market share and profitability, in conjunction with the Director of Finance. 

• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, travel partners, luxury consortia and DMCs to drive business for both resorts. 

• Represent Six Senses Amaala and Six Senses Southern Dunes at trade shows, sales trips and industry events to build brand awareness and generate business. 

• Oversee pricing, distribution and channel strategy to maximize revenue and profitability across both properties. 

• Partner with the global Six Senses Sales & Marketing team on brand campaigns, positioning and pre-opening commercial readiness. 

• Operate the properties consistent with all legal, statutory and financial requirements and documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards, host management practices and budgetary controls are implemented, reviewed and maintained to ensure the successful commercial operation of both hotels.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Cluster Commercial Director, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business Management or a related field, with a minimum of 8-10 years’ progressive experience in luxury hotel sales and marketing, including at least 3-5 years in a senior commercial/Director-level role, preferably across multiple properties. 

• Fluent in English; I understand that Arabic Language is preferred.
