We’re searching for a Commercial Director with the strategic expertise and leadership skills to maximize hotel performance and enhance market positioning—ideally without needing a crystal ball.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but as Commercial Director at voco Dubai you’ll mostly be:

  • Managing daily commercial activities across sales, marketing, and revenue functions to drive overall hotel profitability.
  • Leading the development and execution of strategic sales, marketing, and revenue plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Overseeing revenue management strategies, including pricing, forecasting, and inventory control to optimize revenue performance.
  • Implementing sales initiatives to increase market share, occupancy, and RevPAR, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Reviewing and analyzing market trends, competitive positioning, and financial performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of sales, marketing, and revenue strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key corporate clients, business partners, and local market influencers.
  • Coaching and mentoring the sales and revenue teams to maximize their potential and performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with brand standards, pricing policies, and distribution strategies to maintain optimal market positioning.

What we need from you

  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Sales, marketing, revenue management, or related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in a hospitality commercial leadership role, with direct experience in sales, marketing, and revenue management.
  • Strong knowledge of market trends, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization techniques.
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis to drive commercial success.
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems, distribution channels, and CRM tools.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and align teams towards common business goals.
