We are currently looking for a Chief Steward to join our amazing team at Crowne Plaza West Cairo – Arkan
Your day to day:
- Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees, facilities, operation and costs.
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Stewarding Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
- Ensure Back of House areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards and cleaning schedules are followed and completed.
- Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene as well as the quality level of product and services.
- Co-ordinate with the Outlet Managers to check their requirements for the day and the next day.
- Ensure the Stewarding Team has full knowledge and understanding of compliance regulations as they effect sanitation and hygiene, as set by internal and local legal requirements
- Assist in the location, movement and storage of banquet operational equipment.
- Ensuring Stewarding staffs have supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms necessary to do their jobs.
- Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
What we need from you
- 6+ years experience in stewarding ( including 2 years in a managerial role in 4/5 stars hotels)
- Strong Communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
