Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales, Business Transient & Luxury Leisure Manager to drive corporate and luxury leisure sales, build key partnerships, and maximize revenue growth. This role involves account management, business development, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver a world-class guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, TMCs, and luxury consortia.
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
- Negotiate contracts, room rates, and service agreements within booking guidelines.
- Conduct client meetings, site inspections, and industry networking events.
- Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure VIP guest experiences and seamless service.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales trips, and FAM tours to drive business.
- Maintain client records, track sales performance, and generate reports.
- Oversee the IHG Business Edge & Good Neighbor Programs, ensuring up-to-date memberships and acquiring new members.
- Monitor daily arrivals, VIP services, and overbooking scenarios to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Other Duty as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education & Experience: College degree preferred with 2-3 years of hotel sales or business travel experience; equivalent work experience considered.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, sales, and relationship management skills. Proficiency in Lanyon RFP, Opera PMS, and Amadeus Hospitality preferred.
- Availability: Ability to travel for workshops, trade shows, and conventions; may require working nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, move within/outside the facility, and lift up to 25 lbs.
