Bar Manager 


Responsibilities:

 

  • Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve beverage products and service offerings.
  • Strong ability in mocktails and non alcoholic beverages. 
  • Enhance and innovate the beverage experience to maintain relevance and guest satisfaction. 
  • Regularly assess and review beverage products and services to ensure quality and innovation. 
  • Maintain a strong presence in the department to uphold service standards. 
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by overseeing service quality. 
  • Handle guest complaints effectively, ensuring proper service recovery. 
  • Inspect the bar and guest orders regularly, addressing maintenance and product improvements promptly. 
  • Lead and motivate a team to deliver high standards of service. 
  • Manage monthly beverage inventory efficiently. 
  • Have thorough knowledge of the property’s facilities and services. 
  • Support updating and maintaining guest history profiles. 
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance, grooming, and hygiene, ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
  • Foster clear communication and collaboration between departments for seamless operations. 
  • Ensure all departmental activities comply with ethical standards and local regulations. 
  • Supervise storage conditions to maintain stock quality and proper hygiene. 
  • Guide staff on portion control and presentation to uphold consistency. 
  • Monitor and control the beverage budget to optimize profitability without compromising quality. 
  • Minimize payroll costs through efficient scheduling and productivity management. 
  • Prepare and submit all legally required and confidential operational documents. 
  • Accurately complete corporate reporting responsibilities. 
  • Attend or conduct assigned meetings and briefings as required. Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
     


Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience in bar or beverage management within a high-end hospitality setting. 
  • Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage trends. 
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills. 
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost control. 
  • Ability to handle guest interactions and resolve complaints professionally. 
  • Thorough understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in inventory management and stock control. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
