OUR DEPARTMENTS
Business Security
Within the Business Information Security Office, a mix of business acumen and security knowledge is essential to being successful. Our Engagement team helps to educate and promote awareness of the IHG security mission, while our Data Security team helps manage protection controls for sensitive information. Business Information Security Officers partner with our corporate stakeholders to help ensure security is included as a regular part of business here at IHG.

Security Identity & Access Management
Security Identity & Access Management is responsible for the credential lifecycle of our IHG colleagues, contractors & vendors. The team also securely integrates all critical internal and third-party applications with our tools. Our primary goal is to ensure secure access to the network and systems, both directly and remotely, 24/7/365.

Security Architecture & Engineering
Security Architecture & Engineering focus on three key areas of work: 1) the implementation and maintenance of Information Security solutions that help protect our IHG environment from attack, 2) the establishment and design of security standards for critical applications & tools, and 3) identifying, prioritizing, and remediating vulnerabilities in systems and applications across our IHG landscape.

Security Governance, Risk, & Compliance
Security Governance, Risk & Compliance focus on several important facets of security. Our Governance team is responsible for the implementation and oversight of global and regional security policies that apply to all IHG colleagues, contractors, and vendors. Our Risk team focuses on identifying, monitoring, and mitigating cyber security risks to IHG’s critical assets and third parties. Our compliance team is regularly assessing, monitoring & reporting on our compliance against regulatory and industry requirements.
OUR DEPARTMENTS
Security Operations & Fusion Center
The Security Operations Center provides 24/7/365 continuous monitoring of our IHG environment to manage any cyber security events, vulnerabilities, and incidents. Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team reviews and analyzes intelligence to determine the potential threat posed to the IHG environment. Our Cyber Incident Response team provides immediate response to security events happening to prevent or limit any loss of IHG information, assets, or property.
