MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Job Summary
The Marketing Executive supports the execution of marketing activities and campaigns to promote Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur On The Park. This role assists in implementing marketing initiatives, creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, coordinating promotional activities, and ensuring all marketing materials align with Hotel Indigo brand standards. The Marketing Executive reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications and supports the achievement of the hotel's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Campaign Execution
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social media, print, and other communication channels.
- Coordinate promotional activities and ensure timely implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Support campaign tracking and performance monitoring.
2. Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Manage and update the hotel's social media platforms with engaging and relevant content.
- Monitor online engagement, guest feedback, and social media trends.
- Assist in the preparation and scheduling of social media content calendars.
3. Content Creation & Brand Support
- Create marketing materials including social media posts, newsletters, posters, flyers, and promotional content.
- Assist in photography and videography coordination for marketing purposes.
- Ensure all communications and materials comply with Hotel Indigo and IHG brand guidelines.
4. Market Research & Reporting
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collect and compile marketing data and campaign results.
- Prepare monthly marketing reports and presentations as required.
5. Internal & External Coordination
- Liaise with internal departments to support hotel promotions, events, and campaigns.
- Coordinate with external agencies, media partners, suppliers, and vendors.
- Support the planning and execution of hotel events, media visits, and community engagement activities.
6. Administrative Support
- Maintain marketing files, databases, and content archives.
- Assist with purchase requisitions, quotations, and marketing-related documentation.
- Support budget tracking and record keeping for marketing activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in marketing, hospitality, or a related industry.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software is an advantage.
- Basic photography, videography, and content editing skills are preferred.
