InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Support the Culinary team in preparing exceptional dishes, from setting up food and equipment to assisting with mise en place to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
- Play a key role in food pick-up, ensuring efficiency and quality while strictly following HACCP standards to maintain the highest level of food safety.
- Provide assistance to the Demi Chef De Parties and Chef De Parties in day-to-day operations, learning from experienced chefs and contributing to a smooth kitchen operation.
- Keep the kitchen organized and safe by maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety regulations.
- Be part of an exciting and fast-paced kitchen, where your work directly contributes to the creation of delicious, world-class dishes.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for
- Previous experience in a commis chef within a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Passionate about food and cooking with a keen interest in learning.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
