Lead the development, communication and execution of marketing plans which detail the objectives, goals, strategies, measures and tactics for the assigned marketing segment, and which builds into the overall annual regional and global brand plans. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic Development & Execution: Lead the development, communication, and execution of regional and global marketing campaigns for an assigned portfolio of brands, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals, brand positioning, and regional strategies. Provide leadership in translating high-level objectives into actionable, innovative marketing plans that drive business growth.​
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Spearhead and manage the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, traditional, experiential) in close collaboration with regional teams, creative agencies, and external partners. Oversee the execution of marketing initiatives that align with global and regional brand strategies.​
  • Campaign Innovation & Creative Leadership: Guide the creation of innovative, needs-based, and non-traditional campaigns and communications that resonate with diverse audiences. Foster creativity while ensuring that all marketing activities support the brand values and positioning, while driving engagement and loyalty across key markets.​
  • Budget & Performance Oversight: Own the financials for campaigns, ensuring effective allocation of resources. Develop and monitor campaign budgets, track spending against projections, and implement corrective actions where necessary. Provide leadership with regular updates on campaign performance, analyzing results against goals, and recommendations to maximise impact.​
  • Stakeholder Management & Reporting: Communicate effectively with leadership and other cross-functional stakeholders to align on strategic goals and ensure campaign deliverables are met. Provide in-depth reporting on campaign progress, challenges, and achievements, offering strategic recommendations.​
  • Market Insights & Solutions Development: Leverage deep market and consumer insights to develop tailored solutions that address business challenges within the assigned category. Identify and capitalize on new opportunities for growth through creative brand activations, loyalty marketing, and emerging trends.​
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and develop junior marketing team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation. Provide strategic guidance and support to ensure high-performance delivery across all campaigns.

 

Educational Attainment:​

Bachelor's or master’s degree in Brand Management, Marketing, Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience in a multi-regional role with proven executional experience with results​

 

​Critical Expertise & Experience:​

  • 10+ Years progressive work-related experience with demonstrated understanding of multiple business processes related to the position including targeted and broad-based consumer omni-channel marketing and promotions. ​
  • Track record in successfully developing, navigating and maintaining excellent working relationships within a global matrix management environment across all functions at all levels to ensure maximum benefit from cross-functional synergies, especially Sales & Revenue, Brand Management, Guest Marketing, DRM/Hotel Marketing and Interactive Marketing.​
  • Experience in a multifunctional team, including managing large advertising and media agency groups and business partners. ​
  • Demonstrated experience in managing implementation of marketing strategies by monitoring competitive movements, regional macro business conditions and company business needs.  ​
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills including ability to present to all levels of the organization, ability to influence and ability to build and maintain internal & external relationships. Possess strong financial, analytical and business acumen.​
  • Travel and/or Hotel industry experience preferred. ​
  • Digital marketing experience highly preferred​

Technical Skills & Knowledge:​

  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles including paid media planning, digital marketing, video production and promotional concepts.​
  • Demonstrated project management skills in organizing, planning and executing mid to large size projects from conception through implementation.​
  • Pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics with excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions​
  • Possess a good knowledge of design tools that include Adobe Photoshop
