With a company as big as IHG one of the biggest challenges is making sure everyone understands what we stand for and how we’re doing - from communicating our results to the financial markets to making sure colleagues hear that we’ve won an award. Amongst other things our Public Affairs and Communication teams manage our reputation with investors; make sure that our people know how we’re doing and what’s going on around the business, and work closely with the IHG Owners Association to keep owners fully engaged.
As part of the wider Global Sales and Marketing function, marketing covers many facets of IHG. In short, the marketing team look after all of the IHG portfolio of brands, as well as our loyalty programme IHG Rewards Club. Roles in this team vary greatly, differing from field of expertise, across multiple levels from executive to director.
