This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Senior Manager, Hotel Infrastructure Operations. The purpose of this role is to drive excellence and consistency in Technology Operations across our EMEAA hotels.

Your day to day

  • Collectively Responsible for the planning, design, support and standardisation of the Network Infrastructure (WAN) and Network solutions (LAN) used in hotels.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Global Technology and the Product teams to drive innovation and standardisation on network infrastructure across the enterprise.
  • Ensure managed hotel network infrastructure and systems are in line with agreed SLA’s, capacity & availability targets.
  • Partner with other C&T teams to ensure that network systems are managed, operated and designed to minimize risk.
  • Reduce network infrastructure costs by working with colleagues to develop new solutions that drive hotel and owner value by working with Procurement to reduce the price for commodities through MSAs and pricing agreements.
  • Develop and produce documentation and SOPs for Network infrastructure both technical design and detailed hotel by hotel schematics to help simplify support and fault fixing.
  • Support the delivery of NHOPS, hotel conversions, portfolio deals, and hotel exits through the timely deployment of Network technology solutions.
  • Proactively engage with the Business Unit teams to ensure that key stakeholders, including hotel IT managers, are consistently engaged and that best practices are shared in both directions.
  • Be the regions SME in Networks and Network Infrastructure

What we need from you

Whilst we love experience, mindset is of equal importance. We’re looking for someone with a real can-do attitude and a natural consultative approach to those they interact with. You understand how to automate common infrastructure processes and have previously worked as part of a project team for large network deployment projects.

 Education 

  • University Degree or equivalent in a technical subject that shows aptitude in understanding complex and technical subjects.
  • Extremely Strong Network knowledge such as Cisco, Cisco Meraki with a CCNP qualification or higher and proven hands-on experience.

Cloud and Devops/Automation Qualifications desirable.

Experience 

  • Strong practical experience with a very good technical understanding of Infrastructure, Network technology, Firewalls and WAN/LAN

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • L3/L4 Technical expertise in Firewalls, LAN, VPN, and WAN technologies.
  • Basic / Foundation Microsoft Windows infrastructure including Active Directory
