Your day to day

- Create new pastry and dessert menus for all restaurant outlets and banquets, conduct tastings and presentations with photos and cost. - Establish culinary standards specific for Pastry/Bakery which meets the need of the target market. - Develop and maintain updated operations manuals for all pastry/bakery production and Stewarding sections and make recipes - maintain updated and accurate costing of all Pastry dishes prepared and sold in the Food and Beverage operations. - Supervise the Pastry kitchen staff in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with the hotel’s food and beverage standards and standardized menu guidelines. - Oversee all matters related to food purchasing for pastry and bakery.


What we need from you

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following qualifications and experience we are looking for: • Experience working as Pastry Chef for a 5-star property or cluster of properties • Knowledge of HACCP is a must • Good command of English • Ability to lead a team of mixed nationalities • Ability to create a culture of innovation and creativity, but with consistent delivery • Profit & Loss 'Savvy', especially in relation to payroll and food cost management
