Crowne Plaza West Cairo - Arkan is scheduled to open in 2021, the 178-room new build will form part of Phase II of Arkan Plaza. The Hotel is 10 minutes away from the “new” Grand Egyptian Museum and 15 minutes from the Great Pyramids of Giza. It is also in close proximity to Cairo International Airport and will be just 10 kilometers away from Sphinx International Airport. Business and leisure travelers can get the best of both worlds with three meeting rooms and a business center along with an outdoor pool and Club Lounge

We are currently looking for a Duty Manager to join our amazing pre-opening team.

 




Your day to day

We’re looking for a passionate Duty Manager to work closely with the Front Office Manager to lead the hotel's Front Office operations on shift. As the Duty Manager on shift, you’ll be the leader – managing guest experience, team performance and hotel operations. You’ll focus on ensuring our team deliver authentic, memorable experiences for our guests while supporting and developing the team to drive results. So what does the day-to-day look like? • Having authentic conversations with our guests to resolve their issues, queries or concerns • Overseeing the Hotel operations in the absence of Senior Management • Being the first point of contact for any critical emergency situations • Leading the team to deliver results that positively impact guest experience and overall Hotel performance • Focusing on team development to ensure our team are continuously learning and broadening their skills




What we need from you

Our ideal candidates will have existing experience as a Duty Manager or Supervisor within the hotel industry with positive energy and passion for delivering great guest experiences. You'll be known for your ability to have genuine connections with guests and colleagues and work in a fast-paced environment. Great Duty Managers are excellent at prioritising workload - their own and the team's - making them great team players. Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication and organizational skills are a must. Working knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Opera will also benefit you.
