The report comprises 351 keys, a health club, a spa, and two pools. Covering an area of 43,770 sqm, the resort is a short drive from famous archaeological sites such as Dhayah Fort and Sheba’s Palace. Set on a headland surrounded by protected coastal wetlands with lush landscaping fronting a sweeping beach on one side and a manmade waterway on the other, the guest rooms, suites, and chalets offer panoramic water views.

Your day to day

As a member of the Finance team, your duties include the following: Reconcile balance sheet accounts related to pre-payments, processing cheque payments, advance deposits, and utilities. Daily invoiced to be verified and stamped "checked" and filled for payment; ensure all charge codes, descriptions and amounts are accurate and verified to approved PO. Verify the invoices approved from the departments prior to posting the invoice on the accounts payable system. Ensure all payments should be reconciled with supplier statements and discrepancies rectified prior to processing any payment. Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential and updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Actively and effectively manage queries, disputes, etc. Ensure the accuracy of all payments and systems and maintain good communication and working relationships within Finance team and all other departments. Adhere and comply with IHG CSA requirements by ensuring conducting monthly CSA reviews to be completed and approved by the Director of Finance and Business Support.

What we need from you

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with the ability to positively coach and motivate the team to success. Ideally, the candidate would have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role in a 4-5 star hotel; able to handle multi-national team; Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field. The position required high organization skills; highly motivated; and good administration skills.
