What is the job?
Manage all aspects of one or more full-service food and beverage outlet(s) on a daily basis and coordinate special events. Ensure compliance with standards of service and operating procedures.
Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.

Your day to day
Financial returns:
- Up-sell property facilities
- Actively pursue cost saving measures
- Recycle wherever possible
- Liaise with Sales Manager during tender process to obtain new accounts; Food and Beverage specific
- Manage wage and beverage cost
- Forecasting
- Stock control
- Analyze food and beverage statistics through point of sale system
- Works with F&B Manager on manpower planning and management needs
- Works with F&B Manager in the preparation and management of the Department’s budget
- Up-sell property facilities
People:
- Conduct effective shift briefings ensuring all staff are aware of VIPs, special occasions, daily specials; emphasis on up selling certain products etc
- Encourage and motivate staff to provide optimum service during all shifts .
- Conducts daily briefings, Food and Beverage meetings and other meetings as needed to obtain optimal results
- Ensure staffs are properly trained on quality and service standards, has the necessary tools and equipment, and is empowered to carry out job duties.
Guest experience:
- Create positive publicity opportunities
- Manage customer database and utilize effectively
- Manage special event concepts
- Develop and implement Promotions Calendar for F&B products in restaurant
- Share recommendations and guest comments to Food and Beverage Manager to reflect current customer profile
Responsible business:
- Recycle wherever possible
- Oversee the Implementation of standards as detailed in the departmental standards and procedures manual
- Ensure the security and proper storage of food and beverage products, inventory and equipment, and replenish supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimising waste.
Accountability
- . Supervises a small number of team members in one or two food and beverage outlets and may include banquet facilities. May oversee Supervisors.
What we need from you
Bachelors Degree/ Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
3 years related experience, including supervisory experience
