このホリデイ・インリゾートは、2024年後半に開業を計画している改装予定のコンバージョンホテルです。  東京から公共交通機関を利用して約1時間半の場所に位置するこの魅力的な山岳リゾートホテルのオープンに向けて、オーナーやIHGとパートナーシップを組む、ダイナミックで意欲的な総支配人を求めています。客室数は100室で、今後30室を追加する予定です。  スキー＆ゴルフリゾートホテルでは、150席まで対応可能な大型オールデイダイニングのほか、ゴルフクラブハウス内のレストラン、冬期にはスキーリゾートレストランもオープンします。  18ホールのゴルフコースと3つのファミリースタイルのゲレンデを楽しんだ後は、温泉でくつろぐことができます。  このホリデイ・インリゾートは、夏の避暑地、有名な温泉地めぐり、冬のスキー、ショッピングの拠点として最適です。

開業前の総支配人として、オーナーやIHGの新規ホテルチームと協力し、ホリデイ・インリゾートのブランドとガイドラインに従ってホテルを開業に導きます。  開業後は、フルサービスホテルの日常業務の管理へと移行し、すべての機能が効果的に運営され、ゲストにプレミアムな商品と信頼ある一貫した体験を提供できるよう、管理チームを指導し、権限を与え、その強みを構築します。従業員の明確な業績目標を設定し、定期的にフィードバックをします。また人材パイプラインを構築するために高い可能性を秘めた人材タレントの育成を促進します。

ブランド・アンバサダーとして、すべてのコミュニケーション、マーケティング施策、行動の中心にブランドを据えます。ホリデイ・インリゾートのブランドプロミスや行動指針、市場知識、ソーシャルメディアを活用し、営業・マーケティングチームと協力して明確な戦略を提供しながら、競合に打ち勝つ方法を考えるようチャレンジします。また、短期的な行動と決断のバランスをとりながら、ビジネスへの長期的な影響を考慮し、収益と将来の収益性を促進し、オーナーへの資本に対して最大の投資収益率を実現します。

理想的な候補者は、開業前の経験が豊富なゼネラルマネージャーとしての実績がある方です。  多様なグループとの関係構築に強みを持ち、卓越したステークホルダー管理能力がこの職務の成功に最も重要です。ホテル・アドミニストレーションまたはビジネス・アドミニストレーションの学士号または同等の学位があれば尚可。日本語ネイティブ及びビジネスレベルの英語の読み書き、会話ができれば理想的です。

現在、日本に居住可能で就労するための法的要件を満たしている方であれば国籍は問いません。

This particular Holiday Inn Resort will be a converted & renovated hotel scheduled to open in late 2024.  We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious General Manager to partner with the owners and IHG to open this landmark mountain resort hotel located about 1.5 hours away from Tokyo by public transportation. The hotel has 100 rooms plus 30 more to add in the near future.  This ski and golf resort hotel will host a large all-day dining with ability to cater up to 150 seats as well as restaurant at Golf Club House and ski resort restaurant during winter.  After enjoying the 18 Hole Golf Course and 3 family style ski slopes, the onsen is available for relaxing.  Holiday Inn Resort will be the perfect base for cool summer stays, famous onsen hot spring locations and skiing for winter time and shopping nearby.

Initially, this role will be a pre-opening General Manager and you will work with owners and IHG’s new hotels team to open the hotel on time and in accordance with our Holiday Inn Resort brand and guidelines.  After opening the role will transition into managing day-to-day operations of this full-service hotel by leading, empowering and building on the strengths of the management team to ensure all functions are operating effectively so guests are offered a premium product and a reliable, consistent experience. You will establish clear performance goals for employees, provide regular feedback and facilitate the development of high-potential individuals to build a strong talent pipeline.

Acting as a Brand Ambassador, you will place the brand at the centre of all communications, marketing initiatives and actions. You will use the Holiday Inn Resort brand promise and guiding principles, market knowledge and social media, and work with the Sales and Marketing team to provide a clear strategy while challenging them to think of ways to beat the competition. You will also balance short-term actions and decision with the longer-term impact on the business to drive revenue, future profitability and deliver maximum return on investment for your owner’s equity.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a General Manager with strong pre-opening experience. Strength in building relationships with diverse groups as well as exceptional stakeholder management skills will be paramount in the success of this role. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Administration or Business Administration will also be beneficial. Japanese native or business level in reading, writing and speaking, as well as English speaker would be ideal.

You must currently meet the legal requirements to live and work in Japan.
