Your day to day

InterContinental Fujairah Resort is looking for a passionate Front Office Supervisor to join our Front Office operations. On-shift, you’ll help to oversee the daily operation of the front desk, ensuring that the arrival and departure experience is smooth, efficient, and in line with brand standards for all guests. You will be the first touchpoint for arriving guests and as such will need to perform to the highest standards. You will respond to guest needs and resolve any issues that arise confidently and independently as well as support other colleagues with difficult and challenging guest interactions.

Reporting to the Front Office/Rooms Manager, you'll supervise the operations of the Front Office Department and coordinate operational efficiencies to meet Hotel budget targets. You will oversee reception operations to ensure that all colleagues are well prepared and informed to deliver memorable guest experiences. You will be involved in the delivery of on job training for new and existing colleagues and as such will need to stay informed and up to date with new and emerging hotel and IHG policies, procedures and initiatives. You will guide the front office team to ensure that the integrity and consistency of brand standards are maintained and delivered at all times.




What we need from you

You may have previous experience in a similar role, or be an experienced Guest Service Agent looking for your first leadership role. You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiastic to work within a team, experience in delivering a high level of guest experience in a hotel environment, conflict resolution and are able to provide valuable feedback to employees through performance reviews.

The ability to work a rotating roster including, late evenings, weekends and public holidays and Australian work rights, with no restrictions, is also a must. You must hold also hold a current Australian driver’s licence.
