• Use account interaction and publicly available tools to monitor competitor activity as it relates to the hotel and account portfolio, and share relevant information with key stakeholders in accordance with hotel procedures.

• Feedback to management on changing market conditions, including competition and market trends.

• Invite the Director of Sales to sales calls and meetings as appropriate.

• Inform superiors of any problems encountered and other relevant information.

• Organize training sessions, daily briefings and other meetings as required.

• Conduct regular formal reviews with the business development team regarding its goals and objectives.

• Ensure accurate and timely updates to the provided sales system (i.e. Delphi; Opera; etc.) for future reference and control purposes.

• Network within the account portfolio to build relationships with key decision makers and other stakeholders.

• Handle and manage customer queries or problems.

• Verify the potential of the specified account and create an account plan according to IHG hotel standard operating procedures.

• Develop a designated portfolio to achieve stated objectives and maximize profitability.

What we need from you:

• Good communication skills.

• Health: Good, neat appearance, good attitude.

• Education: Required degree or diploma in marketing, business or hospitality management. Minimum 1 year related experience in team management or equivalent, minimum 2 years related sales experience in hotel or related service industry.

• Language skills: Good at listening, speaking, reading and writing in Chinese and English.
