What a great time to be joining IHG, with 8 new hotels opened since the beginning of the year and many more to come over the next 18 months its an exciting to join InterContinental Hotels Group. With the growth in region and talent acquisition being priority in our agenda we have a newly created role of Talent Acquisition Manager Japan.

Reporting into our Talent Acquisition Manager Japan, Australasia and Pacific (JAPAC) the role will be based in our Tokyo Head Office and lead the recruitment of General Manager and Corporate office roles and ensure that talent acquisition strategy for Japan is aligned with the JAPAC region. It will leverage IHG’s brand presence, reputation, recruitment tools and platforms The role will also leverage your experience and relationships that you will have with Japanese job boards, recruitment agencies and local talent.

このポジションは日本・オーストラリア・太平洋地域統括タレント・アクイジション マネージャー‐JAPACの直属となり、勤務地は東京ヘッドオフィスとなります。総支配人、本社業務の各ポジションなどの採用活動を指揮し、JAPAC地域全体の方針に沿った形で日本における人材獲得戦略を展開することが求められます。業務を通じて、IHGのブランド力や評判の向上、採用活動の各ツールやプラットフォームの充実を目指します。また、日本市場向けの求人掲示板、人材会社、地元の人材を開拓するにあたり、これまでの経験やつながりを活かしていただきます。

What we need from you

What we need from you

To ensure success in the role the following skills and attributes will be highly regarded

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of executive search and recruitment experience in both in house and agency acquisition
  • International sourcing and recruitment experience within assigned BI countries
  • Talent Acquisition business partner experience within hotel/corporate industries
  • Research and executive sourcing skills
  • Extensive networks and contacts within and outside of hotel industry
  • Inclusive and unbiased recruitment skills, strategies and tools that support diversity hiring
  • Effective presentation, consulting and interpersonal skills Advanced computer skills
  • Ability to navigate and utilise job boards in Japan
  • In depth knowledge of acquisition principles, systems and processes
  • Experience and capability with delivery of assessments and key selection processes
  • Social media savvy and overt presence in candidate markets
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable in market laws affecting sourcing and recruitment.
  • Native Japanese speaking with advanced English knowledge skills are essential

  • 効果的なプレゼン能力、コンサルティング能力、対人能力、高度なコンピュータ知識。
  • 日本の求人掲示板を効果的に活用できること。
  • 採用原則、制度、手続に関する深い知識。
  • 評価の実践、人選の主要プロセスにおける経験・能力。
  • ソーシャルメディアに精通し、就職活動マーケットにおいて存在感のあること。
  • 人材・採用マーケットに影響する適用法の確かな知識を有すること。
  • 日本語(母国語)、ビジネスレベルの英語力は必須。
