Supervisor, Night Cleaning - InterContinental San Francisco

The secret ingredient in every single dish served in our restaurants and hotel is a pinch of hard work behind the scenes.  We’re looking for a supervisor to help our overnight cleaning team make every experience memorable by setting and maintaining exceptional standards in our public areas as well as out heart-of-the-house.

You'll need a high degree of organization and an exceptional eye for detail.  

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

● Coordinating, delegating, and supervising the work of a large crew, identifying deficiencies throughout the night and ensuring correction before sunrise.  .
● Cleaning and sterilizing floors, restrooms, elevators, countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment.  This includes both indoor and outdoor space.


What we need from you:

● Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in the same or similar role.
● Previous experience as a Night Porter a plus.
● Experience working in a busy environment and working to deadlines
● Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team

What you can expect from us:

The hourly pay range for this role is $23.73 to $31.64. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed at InterContinental San Francisco. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
