Your day to day

As a member of our Stewarding team, your passion for cleanliness and hygiene will be critical in supporting our Culinary and Restaurants & Bars team to deliver the highest level of guest satisfaction. Taking pride in our work spaces and giving our team the benefit of your organisation and expertise, you’ll partner with them to ensure health, hygiene and food safety is paramount and a daily focus within the kitchens and front of house restaurant, bar and conference spaces. You’ll get in amongst it all; cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and the premises, whilst upholding hygienic standards and practices. In addition, you will focus on our stores area and receive and distribute goods as they arrive.

What we need from you

Ideally you’ll have experience in a similar role in a kitchen environment and take a real sense of pride in your ability to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, with exposure to a hotel environment a plus. You’ll also have the ability to work autonomously and as a team alongside excellent communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of the role. You'll be prepared to carry, lift and push heavy items, such as plates, trolleys and garbage bins Flexibility to work a varied roster including, late evenings, weekends and public holidays in order to support the operation alongside holding Australian work rights is also a must.
