Are you a culinary expert with a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences? We are thrilled to announce the opening of our newly launched hotel and restaurant, in partnership with renowned chef Gareth Stewart at Advieh Restaurant and Bar, located at the prestigious InterContinental Auckland.  We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to take charge of our exciting and amazing room service menu during our evening shift. 

A little taste of your day to day 

  • Room Service Excellence: Lead the culinary team in crafting exceptional room service dishes, ensuring the highest quality and presentation standards.
  • Independent Initiative: Work autonomously and unsupervised, demonstrating strong decision-making skills and the ability to handle the demands of a dynamic kitchen environment.
  • Cooking Mastery: Possess a general knowledge of cookery techniques, with the ability to create innovative and delectable dishes that exceed guest expectations.
  • Overnight Menu Preparation: Provide valuable assistance in preparing the overnight menu, contributing to the overall success of our culinary offerings.

What we need from you 

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong background in culinary arts. 
  • Ability to work evening shifts and take charge of room service operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with the culinary team and other staff members.
  • Passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to maintaining high food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Creative flair and the ability to contribute to menu development.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications.
