Your day to day

As a Room Attendant, your key duties of this position include performing all housekeeping duties necessary including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning guest rooms to ensure guest satisfaction–as required. You will also ensure linen is accounted for daily in line with hotel procedures whilst also replenishing stock, linen and towels in public areas and housekeeping trolleys. The role will require you to assist in moving clean and dirty linen, rubbish and other articles as required around the hotel, whilst Providing guests with prompt service, professional attention and personal recognition. You’ll be happy to help if someone needs a toothbrush or directions for example.

What we need from you

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a Housekeeping department in a full-service hotel/hospitality environment
  • Fitness –you will be on your feet most of the day with lots of bending and kneeling
  • Strength –you will need to lift, push and pull big objects like beds, luggage, bags, and parcels up to 50lbs (23 kg)
  • Flexibility –night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
  • Articulate –excellent communication skills. Bilingual or multilingual language skills are advantageous
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workloads
