Your day to day

In this role you will clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures.  Cleaning may include but is not limited to:

  • Making beds
  • Dusting
  • Vacuuming
  • Sanitizing bathrooms
  • Removing trash .
  • Kitchen areas
  • Room refrigerator/Minibar
  • Coffee maker
  • Cups, glasses, silverware etc.  

You will also be required to utilize a handheld device to confirm service is complete so rooms may be sold or occupied.

You will monitor and control your supplies and amenities each day, while minimizing waste within all areas of housekeeping.

Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures.

What we need from you

Minimum of one year experience as a room attendant in a hotel setting is preferred.  Candidates with other type of cleaning and janitorial experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

You must posses basic communication skills in English - this includes the ability to read, write and speak - to effectively engage with guests, colleagues and leadership.  

You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

This job requires ability to perform the following:

- carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds

- pushing and/or pulling up to 200 pounds

- frequently standing up and moving about the hotel

- frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the hotel

- frequently bending, stooping and kneeling while cleaning and restocking supplies
