Your day to day
If you'd like to embrace a wider world of experiences and opportunities, we'd like to welcome you to the world's most international luxury hotel brand as the Resorts Restaurants & Bars Manager, a key role in our Food & Beverage leadership team. Overseeing the day to day operation of the Restaurants & Bars within the Resort and executing the overall Resort Food & Beverage Strategy, as the Restaurants & Bars Manager you will monitor and control revenue, expenditure, profitability and performance against budget and lead the food & beverage team.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Restaurants and Bars will be yours to drive and grow, from implementing promotional calendars and driving revenue creation opportunities to workforce planning and seeking innovative ways of working – this role will be pivotal in ensuring the restaurant operations are effective and efficient and guest service is brand defining. You will work in partnership with other areas of the Resort as well as with your dynamic and experienced team to continuously drive and identify product and guest experience enhancement opportunities. You will be at the forefront of driving a diverse food and beverage experience.
It will also be critical that you have a strong focus on developing your team to create a positive and productive work environment; building, motivating and upskilling them to ensure they are highly engaged, deliver results and know how to truly deliver luxury in the food and beverage space.
What we need from you
The ideal candidate will have experience both in hospitality, leadership and working in a large complex hotel with high volume banqueting and multiple restaurant & bar offerings. You will have demonstrated capability in influencing and impacting business strategy and also have strong financial, analytical and business acumen partnered with proven ability to deliver on set targets. You will be a change agent with the ability to work alongside a team and collaborate with key stakeholders with a sense of urgency. The ability to explore new ways of working and an open minded around how we can drive the Resort forward and deliver unrivalled guest journeys will be highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work with guests and champion a brand is also a must.
Flexibility to work a varied roster including, late evenings, weekends and public holidays in order to support the operation alongside holding Australian work rights is also a must.
